A Story Half Told

This exhibition was conceived as an ongoing research project, that aimed to redress the balance of underrepresentation by opening a window to the work of nine contemporary Spanish female artists who use photography as a medium. The works presented in the exhibition opened up a dialogue around themes of representation and visibility at a time when traditional roles are in flux.
The inaugural exhibition of this project toook place in London in 2018 with a capsule presentation that intended to set its premise, context and agency. The second iteration, saw it back on home turf at Tabacalera in Madrid in 2020 with an extended version. The accompanying series of parallel events, and touring schedule was unfortunately cut short by the pandemic.
